Return & Refund Policy – Non-Custom Items
At Burnt Bark Co, I take great care in creating each hand-burned piece. While my non-custom items are not personalized, they are still handmade on natural wood and may feature natural variations that make each piece unique.
Eligibility for Returns
Non-custom, ready-to-ship items may be returned within 14 days of delivery
Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original condition
Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect
Non-Returnable Items
Custom or personalized items (see Custom Order Policy)
Items damaged due to misuse, improper care, or normal wear
Items returned after the 14-day window
Natural Variations
Please note that variations in wood grain, tone, shading, and minor imperfections are inherent to natural wood and the hand-burning process. These characteristics are not considered defects and do not qualify for a return or refund.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item:
Contact me within 48 hours of delivery
Include clear photos of the item and packaging
I will work with you to resolve the issue through replacement or refund when appropriate
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the item is received and inspected
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
